Lulu
It's rare to find a female head chef in a very much male dominated industry like culinary. Which is strange because aren't women suppose to be in the kitchen? Here's Lulu, a south African girl, brought up in New Zealand; and now all the way in our small town of Kuching pioneering some exciting food and living her dreams. She shares a little of what encouraged her to pursue her career and why we shouldn't compare ourselves to others. FAQ: What is this project about? This project is to discover through conversation what women (and men) care about regarding this topic. Be it their take on gender equality or who should pay on the first date etc. Read more about it here: http://www.soolproductions.com Why this project? Maybe it's our culture and our background, but people generally just don't talk about these things enough. In a generation with so much access to mass communication, we ironically don't communicate much. So this project is to encourage our society and community to start talking about things that do matter. How you can be a part of it?
