Lloyd & Sereni
" I'm not the kind of woman that would sit around and wait for men.
If you want something, just go and get it."
This inspiring couple taught me that there is beauty in the unconventional. There's nothing more respectful than a man that can also support the family by being there for his children; and a women that can take on the world (even in heels).
We laughed about who made the move first and don't miss Lloyd final piece of advice. I giggled a bit too much.
What is this project about?
In conjunction with The "What Women Want Weekend" at The Granary Kitchen + Bar this weekend, I've decided to plan a little project to discover through conversation what women (and men) care about regarding this topic. Be it their take on gender equality or who should pay on the first date etc.

Why this project?
Maybe it's our culture and our background, but people generally just don't talk about these things enough. In a generation with so much access to mass communication, we ironically don't communicate much. So this project is to encourage our society and community to start talking about things that do matter.
How you can be a part of it?
The actual social experiment will be on the 12th of March, from 3.30-5.30pm at The Granary Kitchen + Bar. I will be giving out surveys as well as talking/filming willing participants. If you feel strongly about this topic, please head on down and we can all chat together. Plus it's free! (The event is ultimately for girls, but guys if you wanna share too you are more than welcomed)
